She’s book-smart but struggles with people and in a field built on human interaction, that’s no small challenge. What makes Beyond the Bar special isn’t just the legal cases (which are based on real ones, by the way), but how it captures the messy humanity behind every decision, every courtroom win, and every emotional loss.
Unlike the typical “lone genius” trope, this series focuses on teamwork, connection, and navigating the legal system with empathy very much in the spirit of Extraordinary Attorney Woo.

It’s less surreal than Bojack, but still carries that emotional weight the kind that hits you when you’re least expecting it. There’s humor, yes, but also grief, joy, regret… all the ingredients that make life feel real and raw.
It’s unpredictable, relatable, and deeply human premiering August 22nd.

Hostage

This series follows the high-stakes nightmare that unfolds when the British Prime Minister’s husband is kidnapped during a major diplomatic summit with France.
Created by Bridge of Spies writer Matt Charman, Hostage is tense, timely, and absolutely gripping. The political drama explores the lines between diplomacy and desperation, featuring powerhouse performances from Saran Jones as the newly appointed UK Prime Minister, and Julie Delpy as the sharp, conflicted French President.
